Centre Philosopy

Doncaster Early Learning childcare and Kindergarten aims to provide a happy, safe, nurturing environment where children develop their self esteem and grow as individuals.

The centre acknowledges that each child regardless of gender, age and culture is different and unique. By providing a range of experiences that enable children to interact with their environment, each child is able to develop skills and ideas to assist them in fulfilling their potential.

The centre believes that all children are capable and competent and are co-contributors to their learning and environment. Our program reflects these views by providing both child and educator-led experiences that allow children the opportunity to belong to a community, be in the ‘here and now’ and become confident learners. We believe that family participation and contribution is integral to our program.

The centre values the parents, educators and the wider community, as we recognise that each plays an important role with the care of children. All children have the right to quality care, and by working together as a unit; the children will be guaranteed a positive childhood experience. All parties involved at our centre will be respected, appreciated and given a sense of belonging. With clear expectations for educators, parents and children a safe and happy environment will be promoted.
